Valid for performances October 22 & 26 ONLY

The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is a musical about musicals! In this hilarious satire of musical theatre, one story becomes five delightful musicals, each written in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim. The basic plot: June is an ingenue who can't pay the rent and is threatened by her evil landlord. Will the handsome leading man come to the rescue? The variations are: a Rodgers & Hammerstein version set in Kansas in August with a dream ballet; a Sondheim version featuring the landlord as a tortured artistic genius who slashes the throats of his tenants in revenge for not appreciating his work; a Jerry Herman version with a splashy star vehicle; an Andrew Lloyd Webber version as a rock musical with Puccini themes; and a Kander & Ebb version set in a speakeasy in Chicago. This comic valentine to musical theatre was the longest-running show in the York Theatre Company's 35-year history before moving off-Broadway.

Ned Newley doesn't even want to be governor. He's terrified of public speaking, and his poll numbers are impressively bad. To his ever-supportive Chief of Staff, Ned seems destined to fail. But political consultant Arthur Vance sees things differently: Ned might be the worst candidate to ever run for office. Unless the public is looking for... the worst candidate to ever run for office. A timely and hilarious comedy that skewers politics and celebrates democracy.

Harlene Frye is going to marry her childhood sweetheart this weekend . . . assuming the typical Frye family hijinks don’t derail the wedding! Not only does Harlene have cold feet, but her ex-flame has returned, and she's got to keep him secret. To top it off, the only available wedding coordinator is the busybody Ozella Meeks. Meanwhile Harlene's sister Sammy Jo is so scared to tell the family she's moving that she's waited until her boxes are already packed. Will the Fryes get Harlene down the aisle in one piece? A big-hearted comedy about family -- Southern-style.
