The Baldwin Music Education Center has been part of the arts landscape of Greater Cincinnati since the mid 1960’s. The legacy began even before that with DH Baldwin in the 1800’s. DH Baldwin was one of the first public school music teachers in Cincinnati and wrote a song book for students and was leading the way for music education advocacy.
For more than 60 years, Baldwin Music Education Center has offered unique, specially designed group music classes for students from ages 6-months on up! The unique curriculum for the preschool classes combines use of a keyboard lab, rhythm instruments, movement and singing to introduce musical concepts through everyday season and childhood experiences.
Because of the combination of this curriculum and the interaction with trained group music faculty, children will benefit from the lifelong skills developed through music study.
